Fractal wood burning is the process through which electricity is used to create free-form designs that are burned into the wood as the electricity passes through it. Once the piece is done, the parts that were burned are cleaned out, and a resin inlay is applied. Then the whole piece is sanded to a uniform finish. All trays are treated with a butcher block treatment, as well as a beeswax and orange oil treatment. All trays can be hand washed. Trays ARE NOT dishwasher safe, and ARE NOT oven safe. It is best not to soak them. The tray itself is made of beech wood and has been stained to achieve this unique, one of a kind look. Please message shop owner with any questions.
